My name is Diane and I've been an English teacher and most recently Head of English in secondary schools across the south west of England since 2004.  I've successfully supported thousands of students through the preparation for GCSE and IGCSE English Language and Literature, teaching a variety of exam board specifications.  Since 2011, I've been an Associate Examiner and a Team Leader for two major exam boards, so I'm fully trained and up-to-date with current specifications.  I retired from the full-time classroom in 2020 and since then, have continued supporting students using the vast wealth of knowledge and resources I've acquired during my career.  The great majority of those students have exceeded their target grades after working with me.
I can help you understand what you need to do to improve your chances of getting the grade you deserve in English.
I can also provide support for Key Stage 3 students who need an extra boost or want to make up for missed face to face classroom learning.
I have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate which is available to view on request.
